Hello! I am Nthabiseng (Thope) Monyokolo, the founder of Emerald Ascent Learning.
Through my structured fluency programs, my clients consistently improve their conversational confidence by over 40% within three months.
My education journey is built on both professional academic rigor and a deep understanding of human connection. I hold a Bachelor of Applied Social Science majored in Counselling and Psychology from the South African College of Applied Psychology (SACAP). By combining my background as a Social Scientist and Psychosocial Support Worker with my qualifications as a dedicated, TEFL-certified English tutor, I realized that the biggest hurdle to learning a new language isn’t the grammar—it is the anxiety gap.
With over six years of experience, I have helped learners from all over the world overcome the stress of speaking a second language. I founded Emerald Ascent Learning to provide a warm, compassionate, and precision-led space where you can let go of your fear, master English, and build true, lasting fluency.
